River and bottom land
The Mora river which flows through this farm for about 1/2 mile does have many species of fish, according to the game and fish department. These include German Browns, Rainbow Trout, catfish, and several type of minnows and carp. The flow of the river will vary from a few cubic ft. a second to flood stage of a 100 yards in width.

There are three types of cottonwood trees in the river bottom: Rio Grande, Fremont, and the Narrowleaf. Also there are the Black Willow and Mulberry trees along with the smaller Chokecherries, Sand plums and willow thickets.
