The Farmers Market in Las Vegas:
Stay in contact for any changes for the 2011 season. The market will run from May to Nov., Wed. and Sat. from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm or sell out.
There is usually a very good selection of vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, jams and jellies, along with cut flowers and potted plants.
Most of the produce sold at the farmer's market has been raised organically, with no commercial fertilizer, herbicide or pesticide used. Produce must also be raised by the person or family who is selling it
Any processed foods such as jams, jellies, salsas, pickles, and baked or prepared foods must have been prepared in a approved kitchen.
